I am saddened to hear of jack's passing. I met him about 3 years ago at St. Anthonys church. He used to joke with me about saving a seat fro him and Trudy every Sunday.I enjoyed the conversations we would have. Jack was really a great guy, I wish I had known him earlier. Love talking sports with him after mass. God Bless him, and my deepest condolences to his wife Trudy and family.

Jack was a classmate from 1949 at St James Grammar School when I arrived in 6th grade...fondly recall sitting in back of the classroom with him ,Bill Dowlen, Frank J in 7th grade... talking baseball with the amazing surge of the Dodgers in '51 against his beloved Jints while in 8th grade...exceptional athlete in RBC, whether BB or baseball..lost track of the lad after RBC but learned of his comeback from the depths and his resurgence, helping others to see the Way he himself had traveled...faithful RBC Reunion attender...he was comfortable with his final situation when I saw him in Riverview...just an inspirational guy who was waiting for his rightful place with the Lord..he made me feel good about his future as I left his bedside..I am proud to have known Cork and he certainly was lucky to have found the love of his life,Trudy...May he rest in peace.
