John Romagna Obituary
AGE: 92 • Milltown
John Romagna, 92, passed away at his home in Milltown on Thursday evening with his family at his side. He was born in Pennsylvania, lived in New Brunswick and has resided in Milltown for over 60 years. John was a supervisor for the Acme Markets (NJ Division) for 46 years. He was a communicant of Our Lady of Lourdes RC Church in Milltown and a member of the Milltown Seniors. He served in the United States Army during World War II. John was an avid Yankees Fan, enjoyed playing Pinnacle and collected antique miniature cars.
Predeceased by his parents Mose and Bertha (Pacconi) Romagna, his beloved granddaughter Sharon Romagna, (2013), and his wife Lorraine D. (Pellichero) Romagna in 2001. Surviving are his sons, Dr. John R. Romagna and Family of the Philippines, Gene Romagna and Family of California, his daughter Susan Jevic and Family of Milltown, his sister Josephine Manhire of Orlando, Florida, eight grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Visitation will take place on Tuesday, June 24th from 4-8pm at The Crabiel Home For Funerals, 170 Main Street at Riva Avenue, Milltown, NJ. The Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, June 25th at 10:00am at Our Lady of Lourdes RC Church, Milltown, NJ. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Burial Park, Cranbury Road, East Brunswick, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association. Even when someone is ill, it is still a combined feeling of surprise and remorse when death finally happens. Thanks, Pop, for everything.
