I collect quotes. Joe once said to me, Here I am having built all these financial models to save this organization and who am I? Im just some little fat kid who grew up under the Outerbridge Crossing in Perth Amboy!
You were much more than that, Joe. Among many other things, you gave us - the so-called Class of 1979 - a lot of leash to perform our tasks under your guidance to better the business mechanisms of the organization. You were the leader, the mentor, the caretaker. You led the way! Thank you.
Rest in Eternal Peace. You are well-remembered.

You were the mentor, teacher, mediator, architect, planner, a true leader, clearing the paths for others to follow. You set the guide and gave us lotsa leash to operate alongside you. You had many contemporaries, Joe, but few, if any, peers. Once again you are leading the way for those of us who remain behind to follow you at some later date. It was an honor to serve with you. It was great to know you and thanq for your support and caring. Godspeed, Joe... and see you later.

My condolences at your loss of Joe. I knew Joe and remember him from a short time I worked for him on an audit while he was at Arthur Young.

Joe was a tough minded decison maker with a big heart. Always known by people in the Archdiocese as "Mr.Nehila", Joe garnered the respect and admiration of those who were privileged to work with him or for him. As one colleague put it, "God's business office has lost a great man".
I will always remember my personal and professional association with Joe.
Rest in Peace Joe.
