JOSEPHINE M. KOKOSKA HUNT
AGE: 90 SPOTSWOOD
Josephine M. Kokoska Hunt, 90, of Spotswood died Monday Feb. 9, 2009 at her home. Born in East Brunswick, Mrs. Hunt was a lifelong Spotswood resident. She was employed as a machine operator for 10 years at the George W. Helme Co., Helmetta, retiring in 1984. Mrs. Hunt was a charter member of the Ladies Polish American Citizens Club of Spotswood. She was a former member of the Spotswood Senior Citizens Club, the Spotswood Democrat Club and an election poll worker in Spotswood for many years.
Mr. Hunt is predeceased by her husband, Clarence R. Hunt Jr.; two sisters, Helen Pado and Violet Furey, and two brothers, John and Ed Kokoska. Surviving is her daughter, Kathleen Bielat and her husband Paul of Spotswood, three sons, William and his wife Colleen of Reno, NV, Thomas and his wife Cindi of Tucson, AZ and Phillip and his wife Loren of Newfields, NH, a sister Frances Bonus and her husband Walter of Spotswood; three brothers, Martin and his wife Lucille of Spotswood, Matthew and his wife Doris of Spotswood and Raymond and his wife Marian of Port St. Lucie, FL.; eight grandchildren, Mary Kay Seeland, Susan Irwin, Paul Bielat, Timothy Hunt, Cory Hunt, Christopher Hunt, Nicholas Hunt and Reed Hunt, and three great grandchildren James and Jessica Seeland and Tyler Hunt.
Funeral services will begin 9:30 AM Friday Feb. 13, 2009 at the Lester Memorial Home 16 W. Church St., Jamesburg followed by a 10:15 AM funeral liturgy at Immaculate Conception RC Church, Spotswood. Burial will be in Holy Cross Burial Park, East Brunswick. Visiting hours for family and friends will be Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105.
