JUANITA MAY RATHBUN
AGE: 86 CHESAPEAKE, VA
Juanita May Rathbun, 86, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 6, 2010 in Chesapeake, Virginia. She was born on May 17, 1924, the daughter of John M. and Sara Bevis Upperman. She was a devoted housewife, mother and grandmother.
Her husband, John F. Rathbun, Sr. died in 1999. She is survived by her son, John F. Rathbun, Jr. and his wife, Janet of Chesapeake; her grandson, John Michael Rathbun and his wife, Sue DeManche of Peoria, Illinois; her brother, John Upperman and his wife, Jackie of Arlington, Texas; her sister, Joan Hayden and her husband, James of Brick and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 12, 2010 at 10am at The Gundrum Service "Home For Funerals" 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy. Interment will follow at the Morgan Family Cemetery, Morgan. Visitation will be on Thursday from 6pm to 8pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Juanita's name to the Alzheimer's Association. c/o Dominion Village at Chesapeake, 2856 Forehand Dr., Chesapeake, VA 23323.
