Kathleen LaMott-Rusher Obituary
AGE: 81 • Belle Mead
Kathleen P. LaMott-Rusher, 81, passed away on Friday, January 13th, 2017. Kathleen was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY and settled in Belle Mead, NJ over 50 years ago. She was an entrepreneur and most recently owned and operated K & B Distributors in Englishtown, NJ. In her spare time, Kathleen volunteered for the Princeton ladies auxiliary and FETE and helped raise money for the Princeton Hospital. Kathleen also had a passion for animals and was known to feed the local deer apples by the case, but most of all she was very nurturing and was known as a mother to all.
Kathleen was predeceased her parents, William and Catherine Reddan, her husband, Wallace, and her son, Brian. She is survived by her son, Raymond LaMot and his wife Dawn of Orange Park, Florida, her brother, William Reddan and his wife Jeanne of Brooklyn, NY, her 9 Grandchildren, Summer, Logan, Ryan, Jillian, Braden, Hannah, Danya, Abby and Katie, 4 Great Grandchildren, Zack, Caylin, Kyleigh, Alana and her fifth due in September , her 4 Nephews, William "Billy", Brandon, Kenneth and Michelle and several great nieces and nephews .
A funeral service will be on Friday, January 20th, at 11am in the Hillsborough Funeral Home, 796 US HWY 206, Hillsborough, NJ 08844. Cremation will be private. Visiting for family and friends will be Thursday from 7 - 9 and Friday from 10 - 11am.
In lieu, donation may be made to your local human society in Kathleen's name.
