Kenneth A. Wallace

AGE: 64 • East Brunswick

Kenneth A. Wallace, died Thursday, August 11, 2011 at home. He was 64. Born in New Brunswick, he resided in Metuchen before moving to East Brunswick 42 years ago. Prior to retiring in 1995, Mr. Wallace was a Police Officer for the East Brunswick Police Department, where he worked for 25 years. He was also a volunteer fireman with the East Brunswick Independent Fire Company. He belonged to the Freehold Elks Lodge #1454 and was Elk of the Year for 2010-2011. He was also past Commodore (2002-2003) at the South River Boat Club.

Surviving are his daughter Karen Gove and her husband David of High Bridge; his son Kenneth Wallace and his wife Faith of Georgia; his brother James Wallace and his wife Veronica of Metuchen, his sister Edye Lou Hirner and her husband Colin of Wisconsin and 2 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Monday at 8:15 AM in The BRUNSWICK MEMORIAL HOME, 454 Cranbury road, East Brunswick. Interment will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Metuchen. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-4 & 6-8PM.
