Lois Ruth Stewart, 84, died Monday, February 25, 2013, at Arbor Glen Holly Center, Bridgewater. Born August 29, 1928, in Los Angeles, CA, she was the daughter of Ash R. and Mary Small Stewart. She resided in Cincinnati, OH, and Pacifica, CA, before moving to Zarephath in 1976. She graduated from Alma White College, Zarephath, Class of 1952, and received her Master's Degree from the University of Cincinnati in 1958. Miss Stewart dedicated her life to the service of the Lord and the Pillar of Fire Church, Zarephath, as a minister, missionary, and administrator. She served as Principal of the Pillar of Fire School, Philadelphia, from 1964 - 1971. She became Vice President of Alma White College in 1971. She was Principal of Alma Preparatory School, Zarephath, for 11 years, retiring in 1987. She was appointed to the Board of Directors of the Pillar of Fire Church in 1975, where she became Treasurer and Vice President, remaining active in the affairs of the church until moving into Arbor Glen.

Miss Stewart is survived by her sister, Phyllis S. Marzuoli of Easton, PA; her niece, Joanne (Kevin) Vough of Wind Gap, PA; her nephew, David S. (Kim) Marzuoli of Easton; her great-nephew, Nicholas S. Marzuoli of Easton, and her great-nieces, Sara Vough of Wind Gap, and Angela Marzuoli of Easton.

Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, February 28, at Hagan - Chamberlain Funeral Home, 225 Mountain Ave., Bound Brook, with Rev. Mark Tomlin officiating. Interment will be at Pillar of Fire Cemetery, Zarephath. Friends will be received at the funeral home prior to the funeral, from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. Thursday.
