Louise Cason Obituary
AGE: 72 • Stephens City, VA
Louise Dorofiejezuk Cason, age 72, of Stephens City, Virginia passed away on Sunday, April 16, 2017 at Winchester Medical Center.
Mrs. Cason was born in 1944 in Pruzhany, Poland, the daughter of the late Aleksandel Dorofiejezuk and Luba Koziol. She was a graduate of Douglass College and worked as a Project Specialist for the New Jersey Department of Labor, retiring after 37 years of service. She was a member of St. Euphrosynia Belarusian Greek Orthodox Church in South River, New Jersey.
Louise married Ralph D. Cason on March 23, 1991 in Bound Brook, New Jersey.
In addition to her husband, Louise is survived by two daughters, Sharon Cason of Stephens City, Virginia and Susan Dempster of Ashbury, New Jersey; one son, Ralph D. Cason, Jr. of Manville, New Jersey; two grandchildren, Douglas Dempster and Mallory Dempster Ebrahemi; and one great grandchild, Ava Dempster.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 20th from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel, 1260 Front Royal Pike, Winchester, Virginia.
A funeral service will be conducted on Friday, April 21st at 1:00 pm at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel. A reception will be held immediately following the service at the funeral home.
Following the reception, the interment will be at 3:30 pm in Macedonia United Methodist Church Cemetery, 1941 Macedonia Church Road, White Post, VA 22663.

For some reason, as I was walking my puppy yesterday in the warm Spring air, a strong mental picture of Louise popped into my mind. In this picture, she had a beautiful and happy smile, which I clearly remember from some of our times together when we both worked for NJ State Emplyment Services in Plainfield back in the late 1970's and 1980's. I spoke to her in my mind and told her I was sad she was taken too soon. But, Ralph, please take comfort in knowing she is comfortable and at peace in heaven. And as I told her yesterday, she is remembered and missed.

Ralph & family,
I am so sorry for your loss. Ralph, I did not know until you so kindly responded to the Christmas card I had sent. Louise was my colleague at New Jersey State Employment Services for many years. She was a true professional and it was my privilege to work with her and get to know her. As you know, we kept in touch through our holiday cards for the past 20 or so years. I knew she had health problems, and that's why I stated in the card I sent, that I prayed she was feeling better. Now I know she is not suffering, and will be eternally loved by you, and be remembered and missed by so many. Please accept my deepest heartfelt sympathy for your loss. I think I have a picture of Louise and a few others that was taken at NJES many, many years ago... If I can find it, I will send it to you.

So sorry to hear this sad news. I had not seen Louise for many years, but we exchanged Christmas cards. We were good friends in college (Douglass College, New Brunswick, N.J.) back in the day. Best wishes to the family.
