"Earth has no sorrows, that heaven cannot cure."
Mr. Lucious F. Zachary, greatest amongst the least of thee. May the spirit of God find you finally Home. I will forever be eternally grateful, for the unwavering love and guidance, from both you and your Sister, Ms. Henrietta Zachary. Born to someone else, I, just as many others, before and after me, were the seeds you molded, of the coming free. Your actions truly nurtured and developed me in growth, with love and generosity of an unconditional action, forever indelibly imprinted upon my heart . The hallmark of ones life, is measured in the action of how one lives, in truth and in spirit. You Now, have done both. You will forever be missed, but never fogotten, and loved in death, as you were in life. May the spirit of both you and Henrietta live on in the memory of others, as it will forever in me. I love you+

Mr. Zachary is was a pleasure to have had you in my life. I remember having my own floor, at your house and the beautiful quilt you gave me. We would have tea at night and talks. My Mom, your Sister and my Godmother-Henrietta,inspired me to be the woman I'am today. Thank you, R.I.P.❤

Many, many years ago, I sang in a choir at Monmouth College. I had the privilege of sitting near Lucious and reveling in his wonderful bass voice. His deep voice brought such power to Thus Saith the Lord from the Messiah and will long be a memory I treasure. Now he is sharing his voice with the heavenly choir. How lucky for them!

I had the wonderful privilege of accompanying Lucious at the Metro Lyric Opera. It was always a special and joyful time to work with him, as he was always easy to work with and a real gentleman.

What can I say about Mr. Lucious Zachary first off it does not surprise me that he requested to have no services that's Mr. Zachary for you he will have the final say. He was my 6th grade teacher and left an impact on my life, I think I was responsible for some of the grays on his hair lol I gave him a run for his money but he never gave up on me. I will forever be grateful to him, some teachers leave an impact on our life and he was one for me, lol nicknamed me Rona Barrett as a kid I was a talker lol RIP Mr. Zachary thank you for being a teacher that cared....You will truly be missed

May God Bless the soul of Lucious Zachary. He was indeed a uniquely kind man who always went out of his way to make others feel at ease. I met him when he sang bass for Temple Beth El in Asbury Park where my late Mother Charlotte Vineburg was the long time choir director. Coincidentally he was a dear friend of the Holbrook family of Interlaken, and at that same time period, I was also introduced to Lucious through Russell Holbrook. May the soul of Lucious Zachary Rest In Peace.
