Ludmilla Shubiak Obituary
AGE: 91 • Linden
Mrs. Ludmilla "Millie" Schloesser Shubiak, 91, died peacefully in her home, on Friday, October 3, 2014.
Visitation is on Wednesday, Oct. 8th. from 5-8:00 P.M. in the Kowalski Funeral Home, (kowalskifuneralhome.com), 515 Roselle Street, Linden. On Thursday, Oct.9th., family and friends are invited to meet in the funeral home at 8:30AM where a funeral service will be held at 9:00 AM followed by the funeral mass to be offered at St. Elizabeth's R.C. Church, Linden at 10:00 AM. Interment will be in St. Gertrude's Cemetery, Colonia.
Born in Russia, Mrs. Shubiak settled in Linden in 1955. She worked as a packer for L'Oreal in Clark for 12 years until she retired in 1988.
Predeceased by her husband, Michael Shubiak in 1972, Mrs. Shubiak is survived by her sons, Peter J. Shubiak and his wife, Kathleen, Alfred M. Shubiak and his wife, Nancy Stevens, her sister, Elizabeth Kopy and her 2 grandchildren, Melissa and Michelle Shubiak.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Elizabeth Church, 179 Hussa St., Linden, NJ 07036 or Haven Hospice, 65 James St., Edison, NJ 08820.
