LYNNE ANN OETJEN-GERDES died Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at Beebe Medical Center, Lewes, DE. She was 60. Born in the Bronx, NY, she resided in Woodbridge and Virginia, before moving to Lewes, DE, 6 months ago. She was a graduate (1970) of South River High School and also of Rutgers University, New Brunswick. She was a Division Head - Mortality Oversight for the Armed Forces Medical Examiner in Dover, DE, where she worked.

Ms. Oetjen-Gerdes was predeceased by her father Edward in 1994. Surviving are her mother, Virginia Lynch Oetjen-Gerdes of Lewes, DE; a brother, Edward and his wife Sandra of Long Neck, DE; a niece, Erika Vap and her husband Torrey of Branden, FL; grand nephew, Taylor; grand niece, Jordan; and several cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, 10 a.m. at the BRUNSWICK MEMORIAL HOME, 454 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick, followed by interment at Chestnut Hill Cemetery, East Brunswick.
