Marian Brembor Obituary
AGE: 88 • Parlin
Marian "Mary" Brembor age 88 of the Parlin section of Sayreville passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Sunday May 26, 2013 at her home. Born in Garwolin, Poland she had resided in Perth Amboy for 19 years before moving to Parlin in 1964.
Before her retirement in 1978 she was employed as a seamstress for 40 years through the International Ladies Garment Workers Union, retiring from N.Y. Girl Coat Company in Perth Amboy. Mrs. Brembor was a communicant of Saint Stanislaus Kostka R.C. Church in Sayreville.
She is predeceased by her husband Szczepan in 1978, her son Frederick in 2010 her sister Alexandra Sulikowski and her brothers John, Anthony and Stanley Ochnio. Surviving are her children and their spouses Irene & Kenneth Hand of Perth Amboy, George & Diane Brembor of Jackson, and John Brembor of Parlin, her daughter in law June Curran of Old Bridge, her grandchildren and their spouses Matthew & Nancy, Michelle & Tom, Christopher & Christine, Dina & Jay and Jessica, her great grandchildren Victoria, Thomas, Ava and Alivia and her sister Violet Lesniak of South Amboy.
Funeral services will be held Thursday 8:15 am from the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home 15 Cherry Lane Parlin followed by a 9 am mass at Saint Stanislaus Kostka R.C. Church with burial to follow at Saint Stanislaus Cemetery, Sayreville. Calling hours at the funeral home will be held Wednesday from 2 pm to 4 pm and 7 pm to 9 pm. My deepest sympathy to the family, we can never get over the hurt when we lose a loved one. May God be with you and may the sweet memories bring some comfort. Irene, I can only hope to be such a great daughter as you were to your Mom. I admire you for all you did to make your Mom feel loved and comfortable, you are really one of the greatest daughters I have ever met in my life and I am privileged to know you and learn from you.
