Marion M. Rathbone

AGE: 88 • Keyport

Marion M. Rathbone, 88, of Keyport, passed away, Monday, Aug. 6, 2012, at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. She was born and raised in Keyport; moved to Hazlet for 20 years, then moved back to Keyport. Marion worked as a dental assistant during her younger years and Kershner's Flower Shop, Keyport. Later, she worked as a sales clerk for Little Silver Health Food. She was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church, Hazlet.

Marion was predeceased by her beloved husband, Norman M. Rathbone in 1988. She is survived by her loving son and daughter-in-law, N. Bruce and Ellen Rathbone of Hazlet; a daughter, Susan J. Patterson of Trenton; a dear sister, June Hohensee of CT; and three cherished grandchildren, Gregory Cuoco of Montclair, Christian and Adam Rathbone, both of Hazlet. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Family and friends are invited, Friday, August 10, 2012, 2-4 & 7-9PM at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place, Keyport; and Saturday, August 11, 2012, 9AM at the funeral home, with a 10AM service at St. John's United Methodist Church, Hazlet.
