Michael Boulegeris Obituary
Somerville - The sudden passing on July 24, 2018 of Michael George Boulegeris, greatly saddened his family, his many friends, and associates. He was born on January 4, 1961 in New York, New York and grew up in Somerville, New Jersey. Michael graduated from the United States Military Academy with a B.S. degree in Engineering and a minor in Eastern European and Soviet Union Studies. He served as a commissioned officer in the United States Army, achieved the rank of Captain and was entrusted with a high security clearance. Michael founded his firm, Boulegeris Investment, Inc. in 1992 and was the firm's Chief Investment Officer. He also served as a Trustee of the Annunciation Cathedral Endowment Foundation of the Greek Orthodox Church in Atlanta, GA. Michael was recognized by the West Point Association of Graduates and inducted into the General Henry H. Arnold Society.
Michael was a Co-Founder of MAP Pharmaceuticals Inc., a biopharmaceutical company that was acquired by Allergen, Inc. in March 2013. Michael's generosity supported many charities and social initiatives. He used his time, talents, and resources to strengthen humanity through education.
He was predeceased by his father, George M. Boulegeris. He is survived by his beloved mother, Mary K. Boulegeris, his sister Georgette Boulegeris, and his love, Tina Sageotis.
Funeral Services will be 10am Tuesday at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 1101 River Rd, Piscataway, NJ. Visitation will be Monday 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM at Bruce Van Arsdale Funeral Home, 111 N Gaston Ave, Somerville, NJ.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to any of his many charities or to the Annunciation Cathedral Endowment Fund of the Greek Orthodox Church of Atlanta, or St. George Greek Orthodox Church Memorial Fund in Piscataway, NJ. Mrs. Boulageris and Georgette - I am thinking of Mike today. He was a wonderful son, brother, friend, colleague, West Point graduate, and Long Grey Line Brother. He was a beautiful soul, and an absolutely wonderful human. Although we saw little of each other over the last 30 years, I miss him dearly, as he enriched my life, as he did for so many others. . A bit of a delayed response on this sad news, which I just learned of this past weekend. Condolences to you and your family on Michael's passing. He accomplished much in his short life, and you and your family must be proud. Success in business, accomplished in the military and in showing his good nature through his philanthropic ways. Sad to have left this earth so soon, but he has given the earth so much. May his memory be eternal and continue to inspire others to do good in this world.

I was very sad to hear of Mike's passing. I first met Mike at New Jersey Boys State in the summer of 1978. When I got to West Point he was the only person I recognized. He was such a nice guy and so easy to talk to. Although I had not been in contact since we graduated, hearing of his passing made me feel a genuine loss. God bless.

Mike was a good friend and a great person. We were friends at West Point and in Germany, and he was also a tremendous financial advisor. He lived a genuinely good life and it's sad that he was taken so soon. RIP, Mike.
