Michael Kafka Obituary
AGE: 67 • Highland Park
Michael "Mike" Kafka, 67, died peacefully at home in Highland Park on Sunday January 11, 2015. He was born in New Brunswick on July 15 1947 to Steve and Anne Kafka. Mike was a United States Marine veteran of the Vietnam war where he served a tour of duty at Danang Air Base. He was discharged with honors when he returned home. Mike worked for the New Brunswick Parking Authority until his retirement.
He is survived by his mother Anne Kafka, his wife Jo-Ann, 2 sons Clifford and Keith, and his wife Stacey, 3 grandchildren Stephanie, Tommy and Steven and also 2 great grandchildren Addyson and Aedan. Mike has 2 surviving sisters Stephanie P. Wisbeski and Joann L. Timm and her husband Uwe and 3 nephews Craig LaRue, Mathew Timm and Jonathan Wisbeski and 2 nieces Melissa Glova and Michelle Wisbeski.
Michael enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. Services will be private and donations are to be given to the Wounded Warrior Project something very close to this proud marines heart. You may sign the "obituary" email "guestbook" at www.crabiel.com

My condolences to the Kafka family. Mike was a co-worker of mine at the parking authority since 2003. I remember many fond memories of Mike. He will be missed.
