Michael Kaufman Obituary
Brick - Michael E. Kaufman, age 57, passed away on May 12, 2021 at Brick Hospital after a long hard battle with cancer. He was the loving partner of Lisa Vetek. They shared many years of happiness, traveling, and life together.
He was born in Westwood, NJ and has been a lifelong resident of Brick, NJ.
Michael was a master craftsman of carpentry, owning and operating MK Contracting.
He loved golf, fishing, sports, (Giants and Yankees) and was a member of Jersey Coast Shark Anglers Boat Club.
He is survived by his mother Barbara Kaufman; his beloved partner, Lisa Vetek and family; his son and wife Mike and Kim Gayton; his sisters, Kelly Kennedy and Beth Bertoti; nieces and nephews and many dear friends and extended family.
Mike will forever be remembered for his infectious laugh and his kind heart.
Visitation will be at O'Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Rd.,Brick, NJ on Monday May 17, 2021 from 4-8PM.
Due to NJ mandates face coverings must still be worn indoors.

Good Morning Pal. There are not enough words to say how much Joanne and I will miss you. Good times at The B.A. and also The Club. Lets not forget the GREAT time in Surfside S.C. I will have a Pabst Blue Ribbon, we don’t have that, ok give me a P.B.R. we have that. lol. Listen Buddy there is an old saying in sports “Leaving It All On The Field” and Michael you “Left It ALL On the Field. Will miss you but can you do me a favor and say Hello to Otis for me. Lets not forget Hoody and Karl with a K. Joanne says ”Schump”. We could hear your laugh. Rest In Peace and All Our Love and Friend FOREVER, Joanne and Tutty. P.S. We have your impeccable Craftmanship in our kitchen and living room which will always remind us of you.
