Michael Pollard Obituary
East Windsor - Michael C. Pollard, Jr., 81, of East Windsor, passed away on Monday, August 23, 2021, at Meadow Lakes Senior Living in East Windsor, NJ.
Born in Brooklyn, NY, he was raised in Milltown, NJ and was a graduate of St. Peter's High School and attended Rider College. For many years, Michael was employed with Krauszer's Convenience Stores and later with the New Jersey Turnpike Authority.
Michael was a longtime volunteer with the East Windsor Rescue Squad -District #1 as an EMT and was also involved with Big Brothers of Mercer County. In his spare time, Michael loved to complete crossword puzzles, especially the New York Times crossword puzzles, which he always completed in ink.
Predeceased by his parents, Michael C., Sr. and Ethel (Nagel) Pollard; he is survived by his wife of 58 years, Elaine of East Windsor; his sons and daughters-in-law, Mark and Rachel of Bordentown and Christopher and Karen of Kingston; his sister, Elinor McQuaid of New Freedom, PA; and his 4 grandchildren, Robert, Margaret, Joseph, and Adam.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday, August 29, 2021, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. followed immediately by a brief funeral service, both held at the A.S. Cole Son & Co. Funeral Home, 22 North Main Street, Cranbury, NJ.
Private cremation will follow.
Masks are recommended for the visitation and funeral services.
