Mildred Drogan Obituary
AGE: 98 • Matawan
Mildred E. (Bowie) Drogan, 98 of Matawan, passed away, Saturday, March 12, 2016 at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. Mildred was born in Parlin, where she resided until 1944, when she moved to Matawan. She worked as a LPN at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank, for 15 years retiring in 1982. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters Court Fulgens Corona of St. Mary's RC Church, Middletown; and a member of the Rosary Society of St. Joseph RC Church, Keyport.
Mildred was predeceased by her beloved husband, Frank G. Drogan, Sr. in 2000 and her siblings. She is survived by her loving sons, Frank G. Drogan, Jr. and his wife Alice of Cream Ridge and Dr. Robert Drogan and his wife Susan of Liberty, Missouri; and three cherished grandchildren. She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by family and friends.
Visitation will take place on Thursday, March 17, 2016, from 6-9PM, at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place, Keyport, NJ 07735; and Friday, March 18, 2016, 9:15AM, at the funeral home, with a 10AM Mass at St. Joseph RC Church, Keyport. I remember Mrs. Drogan and all the hours we played in and around the Drogan yard. She was a loving mother and was liked by all of us (Frank's friends). My condolences to the family.
