Mildred Vohrer Obituary
AGE: 87 • Monroe Twp.
Mildred M. Vohrer died Sunday, May 8, 2011 at St. Peter's University Hospital, New Brunswick. She was 87. Born in Queens, NY, she resided in Spotswood before moving to Monroe Township 32 years ago. She was a member of the Spotswood Reformed Church.
Mrs. Vohrer was predeceased by her husband Clifford in 1997. Surviving are her daughter Susan Kurabieski and her husband Dan of Monroe Township: 2 sons, Wayne of Freehold and Cliff and his wife Susan of Jackson; 2 brothers, John Otto and his wife Florence of Hicksville, LI, NY, and Walter Otto and his wife Florence of North Carolina; 6 grandchildren: Brian, Michael, Lisa, Sherri, Jason and Christopher; and 4 great-grandchildren: Alyssa, Richard James, Tyler and Lucas.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, 9:15 AM in the Brunswick Memorial Home, 454 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick, followed by a 10:00 AM service at the Spotswood Reformed Church. Interment will follow at Brookside Cemetery in Spotswood. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Dear Susan, Cliff, Wayne and family, I haven't seen your Mom for a few years, but the last time I did see her it was like time had stood still. She was one of the nicest ladies I remember growing up around in Clover Estates. She always had a beautiful smile and something nice to say. I know you will all remember the good times you had and will miss her terribly, but she will always be with you. My heartfelt sympathies.
