Paolina Facciolo Obituary
AGE: 89 • Bridgewater
Paolina Facciolo, 89, of Bridgewater, NJ, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at her home. Born in Sant' Onofrio Calabria, Italy, she immigrated to the United States where she resided in Raritan NJ for 18 years before moving to Bridgewater NJ 42 years ago.
Paolina worked as a seamstress before her retirement in 1983. She was a communicant of St. Ann's R.C. Church in Raritan, and was a member of the Rosary Altar Society. She was also a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union. Her kind heart and wonderful smile will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is preceded in death by her beloved parents Maria Apa and Paolo Marasia; 2 brothers, Anthony Marasia and Raffaele Marasia; and two sisters, Marianna DiLeo and Giuseppina Cichello. Surviving are her beloved husband of 68 years, Vincenzo Facciolo; 1 dear son, Paul and wife Rosanne Facciolo of Robbinsville NJ; 2 loving daughters, Theresa and husband Kenneth Henderson of Bound Brook NJ, and Maria Facciolo of Pennington NJ; 1 wonderful sister, Angelina and husband Frank DeFina of Raritan NJ; 5 cherished grandchildren, Vincent, Paula, Michael, Matthew, and Tyler; and 4 adored great-grandchildren, Paul Ethan, Benjamin, and Penelope Rose.
Viewing will be held Friday, July 15, 2016 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at the Branchburg Funeral Home 910 US Highway 202 South Branchburg, NJ 08876.
Funeral services will start with a prayer at 9:30am at the funeral home on Saturday, July 16, 2016 followed by a 10:15am funeral liturgy at St. Ann's R.C. Church in Raritan. Entombment will follow in the St. Bernard Cemetery and Mausoleum in Bridgewater. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Alzheimer's Association Greater NJ Chapter, 400 Morris Ave., Suite 251, Denville, NJ 07834.

Sorry for your loss. I remember Pauline and Angela when they came from Italy to visit the Ruccella family in Cleveland, due to my father's assitance to the Marasias to get them here. She made a beautiful smocked baby dress for my niece Marianne by hand when she stayed with us.
