Patricia Kiernan Obituary
AGE: 68 • Monroe Township
MONROE TOWNSHIP - PATRICIA DIANE (HYDRUSKO) KIERNAN died on Friday, July 17, 2015, at home. She was 68. Born in South Amboy, she resided in Spotswood before moving to Monroe Township in 1971.
Graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Education from Trenton State College in 1969, Patricia taught in the Monroe Township School District for 25 years, retiring in 2006. When she wasn't at her teaching post, Patricia enjoyed her passion for gardening.
She was predeceased by her father, Henry "Hydro" Hydrusko, in 1970 and her sister, Lynn Hydrusko-Zangara, in 2000.
Surviving are her husband of 45 years, George Kiernan; her son, Scott Kiernan and his wife, Shelby, of Centennial, CO; her daughter, Kara Spressert and her husband, Kevin, of Spotswood; her mother, Jessie Hydrusko, of Spotswood; five grandchildren: Tyler, Ava, Lucas, Aiden and Jarron, and her niece and nephew, Caitlin and Rob Zangara.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, 7/22, at 10:00 AM at The BRUNSWICK MEMORIAL HOME, 454 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick, followed by interment in Spotswood Reformed Church Cemetery, Spotswood. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, 7/21, from 7-9 PM. For directions please visit www.brunswickmemorialhome.com In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Susan G. George, Kara and Scott,
We are deeply saddened by the loss of Pat. She, just like her beloved sister Lynn were two of the kindest woman I have ever known. Rest in peace Pat!
