Phyllis Mancinelli

AGE: 90 • East Brunswick

Phyllis D'Errico Mancinelli died Monday, October 27, 2014 at home. She was 90. Born in Newark, she resided in East Brunswick for over fifty years. Prior to her retirement in 1991, she was a Second Grade Teacher at Willett School in South River for 22 1/2 years. She was a communicant of Immaculate Conception RC Church, Spotswood, where she was a Columbiette. In addition, she was a member of the Secular Order of the Discalced Carmelites.

She was predeceased by her husband, Philip V. Mancinelli in 1995. Surviving are a son, Michael Mancinelli; two daughters, Jeanne Briski and Diane Bettinger; three sisters, Mary Connors, Annette Mills, and Lucille Forte; and six grandchildren, Sarah, Christopher, Michael, Matthew, Nicholas, and Katherine.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 9:15 AM in the Rezem Funeral Home, 457 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick, followed by a 10:15 AM Mass of Christian Burial at Immaculate Conception Church, Spotswood. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday 2-4 & 6-9 PM.
