RAYMOND W. DAY
AGE: 71 NEPTUNE CITY
Raymond W. Day, 71, of Neptune City, passed away Wednesday, June 23, 2010, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. He worked at ACE TV and Appliance for 40 years. He graduated from Neptune High School.
He is predeceased by his beloved wife, Alice Day. Raymond is survived by his children, Lisa Flood and her husband Patrick of Neptune City, and Donna Barnhill and Gregory Day of CA; his sister, Cindy DePreta and her husband Robert of Sayreville; his brother, Edward Day and his wife Fran of Manchester; his grandchildren, Ireland, William Flood and Alex Politan; his great-grandson, Adam; his nephews, Brian Burke and Michael Day; and his nieces, Michele Trapalis, Christina Stauffer, Rebecca DePreta and Kathleen Perry.
A memorial gathering will take place at 11 a.m. Sunday, June 27 at the Ely Funeral Home, 3316 Highway 33, Neptune. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center, 2140 Market St., Philadelphia, PA 19101. Condolences may also be made online at www.elyfuneralhome.com.

I just would like to say how Im glad to have known him for the short time that I did. He had a beautiful smile and a warm heart. I would like to extend my thoughts and prayers to all of you. He was a sweet man and he will be missed.

Sorry to hear of Ray's passing.
Ellen"Blair"Lubinsky and Herman"DInk" Lubinsky who was in his class and I was in your's and we both remember him, well. I was just talking to Donna the other day and I don't think she knew at the time or would have mentioned.
Old Friends are Gold or Silver, it was always hard to tell in Girl Scouts!
