Richard C. Wikoff

AGE: 85 • New Brunswick

Richard C. Wikoff, 85, of New Brunswick passed away Saturday October 29, 2016 at RWJ, New Brunswick with his family at his side.

Richard was a devoted member of the Elks lodge #324, Knights of Columbus Council #257 and IBEW Local 827. He was an usher at St. Peter's Church and a bingo volunteer at St. Peter's school. Richard was a past President at St. Vincent De Paul and St. Peter's Athletic Association. He was a member of the New Brunswick Senior Center and a lifelong Rutgers and Giants football fan. He enjoyed his summers at the Cedar Hill Club where he was a past board member. Richard worked at Thatcher-Anderson and then joined Bell Atlantic Telephone Company as a testman where he retired in 1995.

Richard leaves behind his wife Elizabeth (McCabe) Wikoff of 56 years and children, Richard and wife Kathleen of PA and their children Richard and Elizabeth, George and wife Jaylene and their children Michael, Matthew and Christopher, John and wife Jennifer and their children William and Nathaniel. Mary Stanford and husband Brian of Flemington and their children Kate and Eva, Sally Eannone and husband Michael of Flanders and their children Michael and Matthew. Richard also leaves behind his brother William B. and wife Helen and their children Bill and Ed as well as his nephew George Cortelyou.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Tuesday November 1, 2016 from 2-4 & 7-9PM at Boylan Funeral Home, 188 Easton Avenue, New Brunswick. Friends and relatives are welcome on Wednesday 8:30am at the Funeral Home, a Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, 10:00AM at St. Peter the Apostle Church, New Brunswick. Entombment will follow at St. Peter's Cemetery, New Brunswick.

Dear Betty and family,
We are saddened to hear that Dick is no longer with us, but consoled that he is with Our Lord in Heaven. Our joyful moments together through many years will keep him close in our hearts. He is in our prayers for the happy repose of his soul.
