ROBERT H. FORNER
AGE: 84 READINGTON TOWNSHIP
Robert H. Forner, age 84 years, of Readington Township, NJ, died on Saturday, December 18, 2010, in Compassionate Care Hospice, Dover, NJ. Born in Jersey City, NJ, June 1, 1926, he was the son of the late Curtis and Margaret Ramsey Forner. He had resided in the Whitehouse section of Readington Township for over sixty years. He was a former mechanic for Durling Farms, Whitehouse, NJ, and later for Whitehouse Machines. He was a United States Army veteran of the Korean War and a member of the American Legion Post, Whitehouse Station, NJ.
His wife, Edith Cordts Forner, died in 1998. Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Janice and Larry Hoffman of Readington Township, NJ, and Luba (Cookie) and John Christopher of Branchburg, NJ; a son, Kenneth Stadnik of Stanton, NJ; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday at 10 AM in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be in Somerset Hills Memorial Park, Basking Ridge, NJ.
