AGE: 87 • Sea Girt

Ruth C. Black died July 2, 2016, at Jersey Shore Univ. Medical Center. Ruth was born in Newark to Arthur and Claire Krepper. Ruth loved to go to the theater with her friends and she also truly loved her dogs.

Ruth Black is predeceased by her beloved husband Thomas Black III, a former Mayor of Sea Girt. Her parents and her brother Richard Krepper.

She is survived by her sister-in-law, Barbara Krepper of Wall, her nephew, Jeff Krepper of Panama City, FL, two nieces; Karen Krepper of Norfolk, VA and Julia Clayton and her husband Bobby of Jackson, also Thomas Black's son, Thomas Black IV and his wife Arlene, of Placida, FL. Memorial donations may be made to the Pop Corn Park Zoo or the ASPCA. At her request services are private.
