Sally Detsis Obituary
AGE: 58 • Hillsborough
Sally Ann Detsis, 58, passed away the evening of Wednesday, April 8th at Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center in Somerville, NJ after battling lung cancer. Visitation will be on Sunday, April 12th at the Hillsborough Funeral Home 796 U.S. Hey 206, Hillsborough from 2pm to 6pm, and the funeral services on Monday April 13th at 10:30 am at the same location.
Sally was born on March 6th 1957 in New Brunswick, NJ, to Henry and Rose Miklowcic, and was raised in Bound Brook, NJ along with her four siblings. She was employed by AT&T for 38 years, where she worked as a network manager until retirement. She was predeceased by her husband, Michael Detsis, in August of 2008.
Sally loved being at her home in Hillsborough, NJ, where she enjoyed growing flowers and reading during her free time. She was an incredibly loving mother and is survived through her brothers, sisters and mother along with her three sons Michael, Nicholas and Christopher. Donations can be made in Sally's name to the Wounded Warrior Project.
