Sandra Bevan Obituary
AGE: 78 • Middlesex
Sandra A. Bevan, 78, of Middlesex passed away peacefully on Sunday, Nov. 2, 2014 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Somerville, NJ with her loving family by her side. Born in York, PA, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Anna Mae Dierdorf.
She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her children; her son, Jeffery Bevan Jr. and his wife Tina of Hillsborough, NJ; and her daughter, Staci Beegle and her husband Barry of Green Brook, NJ; and her beloved grandchildren, Kathryn Beegle of Green Brook, NJ, Nicholas Bevan and Jenna Bevan of Hillsborough, NJ. She is predeceased by her brother, Kenneth Dierdorf Jr. Sandra devoted her life to taking care of others. She worked as a registered nurse at Raritan Health and Extended Care Nursing Home for 38 years. She enjoyed attending Broadway Shows in NYC, celebrating the holidays, shopping, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Sandra touched the lives of many people with her laughter and generosity.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 5 from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Sheenan Funeral Home, 233 Dunellen Ave., Dunellen, NJ. A service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, Nov. 6 at 9 a.m. Burial will follow at Mt. Rose Cemetery in York, PA.

What a wonderful mom you had. She loved you dearly,and talked so lovingly of you . What a caring nurse she was and such a fun person to be with.I remember all the fun things we did in nurses training and then later at the shore making "angels" now she is one.

I was Director of Nursing at Raritan Health and worked with Sandy for 13 years. She was someone She was a wonderful 11-7 Supervisor. She demonstrated leadership with her staff that respected her so much and modeled what a Nurse truly is. She demonstrated compassion and commitment. I admired, respected, and loved her. It was an honor to work with her. I send my condolences to her family.
