Shirley Hockenjos Obituary
Sayreville - Shirley M. Hockenjos age 86 of Sayreville passed away Monday January 25, 2021 at her home with her loving family by her side. Born in South River she lived in Sayreville most of her life. Before her retirement she was employed at Price E W Agency for over 35 years. She will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
She is predeceased by her parents Adolph & Rose Dziepak as well as her beloved husband Cecil Hockenjos and two brothers Adolph "Zip" Dziepak and Edward "Butch" Dziepak. Surviving are her children Kathy Furru and Garry Hockenjos & his life partner Eileen as well as her grandson Bradley and Bradley's mother Joanne Hockenjos and her sister Rose Garbowski, and many loving nieces and nephews.
Services are private under the direction of the Maliszewski Memorial Home. 121 Main St. Sayreville, NJ. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Shirley's name to The Sayreville Emergency Squad or The Morgan Emergency Squad. Completed arrangements, letters of condolence to the family, and directions may be found by visiting www.maliszewskimemorialhome.com.

Though relatives sometimes tend to drift apart, their passing always brings back old memories. We had some great ones as well as the Dziepak family picture at Uncle Adolph's. God bless and keep you Shirley. Loving thoughts and prayers to Kathy, Garry, Dottie, and all!

Dear Rose, I find it difficult to reach out to you at this difficult time. I remember your sister so well, especially when we were all younger, and it doesn't seem that long ago.
