Stanford Rea "Red" Crawford

AGE: 86 • Zarephath

Stanford Rea "Red" Crawford, 86, of Zarephath, went to be with his Lord on Friday, December 20, 2013, surrounded by loved ones in his home. Born in Zarephath on February 23, 1927, he was the son of Clifford and Sara Crawford. He graduated from Alma White College and devoted his life to the work of the Pillar of Fire Church at Zarephath, primarily in the ministry of the radio station WAWZ (Star 99.1).

He was predeceased by his wife of 49 years, Jenora Crawford and his brother Frank Crawford. He is survived by his wife Pamela Crawford, his daughter, Diane Kopec, his son Scott Crawford, his stepson Curtis Aldstadt his grandchildren, Emily Holloway, Jamie Crawford, Matt Crawford, MacKenzie Woods, Jessica Aldstadt, his brother, Cliff Crawford and his sister, Joan Murray.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, December 27, at the Zarephath Christian Church Worship Center in Zarephath. Memorial contributions in Rea's name may be made to the WAWZ Star 99.1 Building Fund, P.O. Box 9058, Zarephath, NJ 08890. Arrangements are by Hagan - Chamberlain Funeral Home, Bound Brook (732-356-0327).
