Steven Wilson, age 55 of Sayreville, passed away Friday December 19, 2014 at his home, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Jersey City, he had lived in Sayreville for the past 27 years. Before his retirement, Steven worked as a clerk with the US Postal Service in Kearney. He was an avid softball player and played on various teams in Sayreville throughout the years. He was a member of the Sayreville Knights of Columbus Council 2016 and a communicant of Our Lady of Victories RC Church in Sayreville.

He is predeceased by his mother Rose Wilson in 1977. Surviving are his loving wife of 37 years, Deborah, his beloved children and their spouses Stephanie & William Jones of Old Bridge, Christopher & Kimberly of Aberdeen, his cherished granddaughters Brianna & Marina Wilson, Emma & Carly Jones, his father Raymond of Manchester, his brother Raymond of Lodi, his sister Theresa Miller of Bayonne, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be Tuesday 8:45am from the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home 15 Cherry Lane Parlin, with a 9:30am funeral mass at Our Lady of Victories RC Church in Sayreville. A private cremation will follow. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Monday from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm.
