Teresa C. (Ryczek) Bigos

Toms River

Teresa C. (Ryczek) Bigos passed away on Thursday, Jan. 27, 2011 at the Van Dyke Hospice Care Center at Community Medical Center in Toms River. Born and raised in Perth Amboy, she and her husband, Adolph married and resided in Fords from 1952 to 2000. In 2000, they relocated to Holiday City West II in Toms River.

Survived by her husband of 58 years, Adolph and six sons and daughter-in-laws, Roger and Kathleen of Mercerville, Waren and Nancy of Ridgewood, Lt Col Gerard USAF Ret and Susan of Medford, David and Jacquelyn of Yardley Pa., John and Ardelle of Andover and Alan and Janine of Middletown. She is also survived by her 15 beloved grandchildren, Brian, Geoffery, Christopher, Ryan, Sarah, Elizabeth , Ann, James, Shaun, Kyle, Brittany, Deanna, Carly, Jillian, Brendan. Along with several nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, Jan 31, 2011 at 10:00am at the Zylka Funeral Home Inc 513-515 State St Perth Amboy. A Funeral Mass will follow at 10:30am at Our Lady of Peace Church, Fords. Burial will be at Saint Stephen's Cemetery in Keasbey. Friends may call Sunday, 3:00 to 7:00pm at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Saint Joseph's Church, Toms River or Our Lady of Peace, Fords.

I was saddened to hear of your Mothers passing. Although I dont believe we have ever met, I am certain she was a beautiful woman. I know this in that I know you and your family. I hope your future brings many fine memories.

To Uncle Al & my cousins,
I have fond memories of Aunt Teresa. She always wanted to make sure I remembered my father even though he wasn't around. I enjoyed the holiday gatherings most of all. I also enjoyed working with Aunt Teresa at Huber.
