Theodore Klein Obituary
South River - Theodore "Ted" Klein passed away Friday, November 2, 2018 at Roosevelt Care Center in Old Bridge. He was 71 years of age.
Born in Wolfratshausen, Germany, he was the son of two Holocaust survivors. Ted immigrated to New York City with his family as a young child and lived in Brooklyn for most of his childhood. He also spent time living in California. He had lived in South River for the past 40 years and was a veteran of the US Army.
Ted was predeceased by his son, Jay Klein.
He leaves behind his loving family; his two sons, Theodore "Ted" Klein and his wife Jennifer of Monroe Twp., and Michael Klein of South River, as well as 3 grandchildren, Theodore "T.J.", Isabella, and Joseph.
Ted was an avid sports fan and loved the Yankees. He wanted nothing more than to watch the Yankees beat the Red Sox and spend time with his grandchildren, whom he loved immensely.
A visitation will take place on Wednesday, November 7, from 5-8pm at Rezem Funeral Home, 457 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick.
A funeral service will take place Thursday, November 8, 2018 at 11:00am at St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Spotswood, followed by burial at Washington Monumental Cemetery in South River.
