Timothy J Murphy, age 28, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday January 4, 2015 after a brief illness. Beloved son of Kevin and Cindy (Lare) Murphy, dear brother of Patrick and Danielle Murphy, Tim was a lifelong resident of Warren, NJ. Born April 28, 1986 in Summit NJ, Tim was a loving, caring, sensitive man with a heart as big as the universe, who loved his family and had an especially deep fondness for his pets, all of whom miss him dearly. He loved all animals, large or small, and was always bringing home some little stray or injured creature to nurse back to health, beginning as a young child. Tim had a special love of the outdoors, trekking into the peacefulness of the woods to spend time with Nature while hunting his beloved rocks, always on the lookout for that "perfect specimen" to add to his collection. He loved sitting around the firepit with his brother and sister on cool summer nights, sharing beers and telling jokes. His fondest times were fishing with his Dad, Grandpa George and Great Grandpa Ted and had a unique talent for knowing just where to find the big ones. Just like his Mom, he had a love of gardening and a truly green thumb, tending his amazing garden and planting flowers, leaving an eternal testament to beautify the world.

Tim is survived by his loving parents Kevin and Cindy (Lare) Murphy of Warren; his dear brother Patrick and sister Danielle; his maternal grandparents George and Wilberta Lare of Warren; predeceased by his paternal grandparents Eugene and Doris Murphy of Chatham.

Tim.... When the frozen ground of Winter yields to the sun and the green of Spring arrives, with each bloom of a flower or singing bird, we will think of you and smile. We'll tend your garden, sharing the fruits of our labor with those you loved just as you did and with every sunrise and sunset, with every summer breeze that blows through our hair, every star that shines in the night sky, we will feel you here with us; guiding us, keeping us safe and loved until we are all together again. Stay safe in God's arms, smile and be happy, find the peace you deserve and be waiting with open arms to welcome us home. Love you Always and Forever my Sweet Son:)

Visitation will be held on Thursday January 8, 2015 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd, Watchung Nj. A funeral service will be held on Friday January 9th at 10:30 am at the funeral home. Entombment will follow at Somerset Hills Memorial Park, Basking Ridge.
