To Vernon, Terry, and Linda, and family ---- I was recently in NJ for the funeral of my aunt Helen Golla, and was told about Vernon's death. I am SO sorry to hear about this. I remember when I used to baby-sit for him, and all the times our families spent together at events for the fire company. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Vern,
There isn't a time when i was around you that you weren't making me laugh hysterically. i remember all the times we went to chucky cheese and you always had just as much fun as i did. i remember we were playing the game where you try to roll the ball into the holes for points...and you kept beating me i was so frustrated lol.. but then at the end you always gave me the tickets. every time we were together.. we set it off... you were so much fun, and I'm gonna miss the heck out of you... i never met anyone who didn't love you! Remember that summer i came up there to visit and we all went walking through that baseball field by your house... everyone else was walking ahead of us probably annoyed by our constant laughing and joking but we had a blast that day you and me... You had the kindest heart, my prayers go out to everyone close to you... because losing someone like you is almost unbearable. Stay up Vern... you will always hold a special place in my heart... ill always love you!

I can't believe you are gone. It was always the four of us grandkids. We were more like sisters and brother. I think back to when we were kids and I always remember you playing with your baseball cards, walking to the corner store to buy candy, and watching games on tv or us watching bandstand on saturday mornings. As a teenager, I loved to watch you roller skate. You were amazing. now that we are all grown up, when Linda comes to visit, I will miss you answering the phone and always being so happy to hear my voice. You always made me smile and laugh with your funny names you called me and comments. We are really going to miss you, Vernon. Watch over your family. They are going to need your help now.
Love,
Judy

Peace be with you, Vernie. I will always remember you walking down Kossman Street with a smile and a kind word as the Appleby's and us Kahle kids swarmed around- (probably up to no good!) Those were great times- and you were a common thread in the goings on on Kossman and in our lives. Peace, Vernie, peace.
