Veronica Presley Obituary
AGE: 76 • Perth Amboy
Veronica R. Presley "Ronnie", 76, of Perth Amboy, died Thursday, March 1, 2012 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Born in Orange, NJ, she lived in Old Bridge before residing in Perth Amboy. She was employed by the City of Perth Amboy as a Receptionist for 10 years she retired in 2003. She was a Member of the St. Peter's Episcopal Church; the Keeper of the Kearny Cottage, Committeewoman of Perth Amboy, and Vice President of the Old Bridge Ambulance and Emergency Squad.
She is preceded in death by, husband, Ivan Presley, her parents Walter and Helen (nee Armstrong) Uhley. She is survived by her children, son, Robert Burfeind of Spring Hill, Florida; son & daughter-in-law, Thomas and Julie Presley of Lakeville, Pennsylvania; daughter & son-in-law, Mary Presley and Gary Sosnowski of East Brunswick, and a son & daughter-in-law,. Adored Grandmother of Ilene, Alyssa.
A funeral Service will be conducted on Sunday at 3pm at the St Peter's Episcopal Church with the Rev. Anne- Marie Jeffery officiating. Cremation Private. Visiting is Sunday from 1- 3 pm at the Church. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ronnie's memory can be made to either St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital at www.stjude.org or the Deborah Foundation at www deborahfoundation.org
