Vicki Drecolias Obituary
Somerset
Vicki Chugranis, Drecolias died Sunday, November 6, 2011, at Somerset Valley Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Bound Brook. She was 50. Born in New Milford she had lived in Old Tappan before moving to the Somerset section of Franklin Township in 1985. She was owner and operator, along with her husband, of Dependable Motors in Somerset for over 20 years.
Mrs. Drecolias was a member of the St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Piscataway.
She was predeceased by her father, Peter Chugranis. Surviving are her husband, Spiro A. Drecolias; two sons, Michael and Perry Drecolias of Somerset; a daughter, Joy Drecolias of Somerset; her mother, Tina Gizas Chugranis of Norwood; and two brothers, John Chugranis of Norwood and Michael Chugranis of Closter.
Funeral services will be 9:30 AM Friday from Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick followed by an 11:00 AM service at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 1101 River Road, Piscataway. Burial will follow in Van Liew Cemetery in North Brunswick. Friends and relatives may call at the funeral home Wednesday from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM and Thursday from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to the Bristol-Myers Squibb Children's Hospital, c/o RWJ University Hospital Foundation, 10 Plum Street Suite 910, New Brunswick, NJ 08901.

We only knew Vicki casually but we know Michael and she raised a fine son in Michael. I know she was very proud of him. I remember her beaming face when Michael sang in his tailor role in "Fiddler on the Roof". We extend our condolences to the surviving family and hope your grief can be lessened by your memories.
