Virginia Fedor, age 86, of Durham, NC died Tuesday, May 21, 2013 in Durham after a brief illness. She was born January 11, 1927 in New York City, the daughter of Peter and Inez Viera Gonzalez.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Joe Fedor in 2012; her parents and her brother, David Gonzalez of Milford, NJ. Virginia is survived by her children, Suzanne LaMee Bodeen and her husband Steve of Durham and Peter Mahalow and his wife Anabel of Hillsborough, NJ; her sister, Emma Fisher of Troy, PA; her brother, Mark Gonzalez of Easton, PA; her grandchildren, Dr. Kimberly Sommers of Los Angeles, CA, Kerry Fortney of Portsmouth, VA, Allison Sommers of Chapel Hill, NJ, Craig Sommers of Durham, NC, Alyssa and Rachel Mahalow of Hillsborough, NJ; nieces and nephews, Dwayne Gonzalez, and David Fisher, Lisa Woolf, Jessica and Jenna Gonzalez; and nine grandchildren.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Fedor will be held at Hall-Wynne Funeral Service in Durham, NC, Saturday, May 25, 2013 at 1:00 PM. Share your condolences at www.hallwynne.com
