Walter A. Kaczmarek, Jr.

AGE: 73 • Toms River

Walter A. Kaczmarek, Jr. 73 of Toms River, passed away Thursday, December 31, 2015. Walter was a bus driver for the City of New York. Born and raised in Jersey City, he lived on Staten Island for 30 years, moving to Toms River in 2006. He proudly served in the US Army during Vietnam and Korea. Walter loved to bowl and was a true all around sports fan.

Surviving are his sons Ronald and Raymond; sister, Judith Witter of Toms River; brother, James Kaczmarek of Lakewood; niece, Dawn Meyer and husband Eddie; two nephews, Robert Witter and wife Filo, Scott Witter and wife Lucie; great nieces, Kayla, Marissa and Kaylie; great nephews, Alexis and Robert.

Visitation will be held at Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave., Toms River, on Thursday from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 pm. Please make a donation in Walter's memory to Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758517, Topeka, KS, 66675 or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, PO Box 1893, Memphis, TN, 38101-9950.
