WILLIAM V. GADEK, JR.
AGE: 60 PERTH AMBOY
William V. Gadek, Jr., 60, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 15, 2009 at his home in Perth Amboy. Born in Perth Amboy, he was a lifelong resident. Communicant of Saint Mary's Church in Perth Amboy. Mr. Gadek was a graduate of St. Joseph High School in 1967. He graduated Saint Leo College in Fla. in 1971. Mr. Gadek was the owner of BCK Construction Company in Perth Amboy, he started in 1973 with his first company Hammer Head Construction. He was a member of the Perth Amboy planning board since 1988 and the president the last few years. A member of the Ogden St. Social Club, The Italian Tripolie Club and the Knights of Columbus in Perth Amboy.
He was predeceased by his mother and father, Doctor William V. and Eva Gadek; his first wife, Carol Terio Gadek in 1972. Loving husband of Cindy Anderson Gadek; Father of William V. Gadek III of Perth Amboy, Katelyn Gadek at home, Joseph Palumbo and Daniel Palumbo both of Perth Amboy; Brother of Carol and Ted Skapinetz of GA, Jane and Tony Alonso of Fla.; Grandfather of Gianna Gadek, Sophia Palumbo, Orion Palumbo, and Nicklas Gadek.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday at 9:30 a.m. at the Zylka Funeral Home, Inc. 513-515 State St., Perth Amboy, NJ. A funeral mass will follow at 10:00AM at Saint Mary's Church. Burial service will be in the Ukrainian Catholic Church of the Assumption Cemetery in Woodbridge. Friends may call on Wednesday 2:00 to 9:00 p.m In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the William V. Gadek Scholarship Fund @ Kenneth Doukas Esq. 336 Woolf Rd., Melford, NJ 08840.

My family just told me of Bill's passing. We are so sorry for your loss.

Bill always made me laugh when I was little. It was really great having the Gadek family as neighbors and am very honored to have been able to spend the time with Bill and the families.

To the Gadek Family,
My twin sister Carol and i went to St. marys Grammer Sschool with Bill 1954-1963. He was a gem and a wonderful son and brother. Everybody liked Bill. He was fun to be around. My sister Carol and i are very saddened at his death. Bill was very kind and would do anything for others. It is very hard to have classmates no longer with us. He went to God and is united with his dear parents and family there.
May God grant you His abundance Peace bill. Our hearts go out to his sisters and family.
