William Parrish Obituary
AGE: 74 • Manchester
William J. Parrish, 74, of Manchester, passed away on Friday, July 13, 2012, at Community Medical Center, Toms River. Born in Statesboro, GA, Willie has resided in Manchester since 1967.
Willie is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 51 years, Gloria Major Parrish; his children, Willie Parrish, Terri Parrish and Dana Parrish; his grandchildren, Stephanie Lugo, Troy Marshall, Sharelle Ortega, the late Kya Parrish, Rodinal Parrish, Ariele Parrish, Briana Parrish and Desera Parrish; his four great-grandchildren, and his two sisters in law Margaret Major and Elmira Major, and brother in law Alfred Major. Willie is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. Friday, July 20, 2012 until the service at 12 noon at the Harmony Ministries USA, 401 Chestnut St., Lakehurst, NJ 08733. Entombment to follow at Ocean County Memorial Park, Toms River. Please visit www.andersoncampbellmanchester.com.

I worked with Bill Parrish thirty years ago. He was, and remains, one of the kindest persons I've ever worked for. Allthough we worked together only a short period of time, I will always remember his gracious manner, and his good humor. He always had a smile and a kind word for everybody. He was a gentle spirit, and I will always remember him fondly. I send my deepest condolences to his wife and family.
Please know that a life that touches others goes on forever, and William Parrish touched many lives. May God bless the Parrish family with his peace.

I knew Willie when he was the Manager for the Treasury Department's Office of Affirmative Action - Public Contracts and I was the union representative for his subordinates. Mr. Parrish was a kind and friendly man, a good leader and one of my favorite people to deal with. I can only imagine that he has a fine and loving family and that they will miss him dearly.
