YOLANDA KISTY
AGE: 91 CARTERET
Yolanda (Jeanette) Kisty, 91, of Carteret died Saturday, Dec. 20, 2008, at Laurelton Village Care Center in Brick, after a long illness.
Born in Carteret, she lived there for 68 years before moving to Hollywood, Fla.
She returned to Carteret in 2001. She was a parishioner of St. Elias Byzantine Catholic Church in Carteret, where she was a member of the Women's Organization. Yolanda was an accomplished seamstress and clothing designer.
She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph, in 1970.
She is survived by a daughter, Janice Clayton and her husband, Jim of Brick; two sons, Joseph and his wife, Beverly of Fords, and Kenneth and his wife, Frances of Bethlehem, Pa.; three sisters, Jill Gray of Charlottesville, Va., Elsie Kurtz of Colonia, and Helen Kitz of Carteret, and eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:15 a.m. Tuesday, at Synowiecki Funeral Home, 56 Carteret Ave., Carteret. Divine Liturgy is at 11:45 a.m. at St. Elias Byzantine Catholic Church in Carteret. Interment to follow at St. Gertrude Cemetery in Colonia. Visitation will be from 2 p.m.-4 p.m. and 7 p.m.-9 p.m. today. Parastas service is at 8 p.m.
