Zoltan Horvath Obituary
AGE: 73 • North Brunswick
Zoltan M. Horvath, 73, of North Brunswick, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 31, 2012, at St. Peters University Hospital. Born in Bakonyszentiván, Hungary, and raised in Csót; Zoltan left his home country after the Hungarian Revolution of 1956, arriving in the United States in January of 1957. Zoltan was a veteran of the US Army from 1961 - 1963. He worked a multitude of jobs before settling down with Johnson & Johnson as a pipefitter in the maintenance department specializing in sterilization of their products, where he worked from January of 1989 until his retirement in June of 2004. Zoltan was an avid home chef and enjoy watching carriage racing in his spare time. He was a dedicated, self-educated, successful man and beloved father.
He was predeceased by his parents Michael and Irma (Kiss) Horvath and is survived by his wife of 32 years, Georgia, his sons Michael and George, his sister Kamarasi Andrásné, and many cousins, nieces, & nephews.
A Gathering will take place at the Gowen Funeral Home, 239 Livingston Avenue, New Brunswick, NJ on Friday, Sept. 7, 2012 from 9:00-10:00am. A Memorial Mass will follow at St Ladislaus RC Church, 215 Somerset Street, New Brunswick, NJ at 11:00am. Interment of cremain at St. Peter's Cemetery, New Brunswick, NJ. In lieu of flowers, we would ask that instead a donation be made to: Hungarian Scout Association: 66 Plum St., New Brunswick, NJ 08901.

My sisters,Susan and Sally, and my brother Tom are deeply saddened to hear of Zolie's passing. He was a "Gentle Giant" and we will always remember his kindness and great laugh.
