Steven Kidd Obituary
OCALA, Fla. — Steven M. Kidd, 71, passed away on October 3, 2018 in Ocala, Fla.
He was born on September 3, 1947 in Parkersburg. Steve graduated from Parkersburg High School in 1966 and Glenville State College in 1973. He served in the U. S. Navy and was a Vietnam war veteran. He worked at the U. S Postal Service as a letter carrier and clerk. Steve and his wife of 44 years, Penny (Burris) Kidd, moved to Ocala twelve years ago for retirement. He enjoyed traveling and coin collecting.
He was predeceased by his parents, Merrill and Martha Kidd.
He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Carrie and Mark Wonkovich of The Woodlands, Texas; son and fiancé, Adam Kidd and Michelle Snowden of Point Pleasant; sister and brother-in-law, Mary Jo and Mel Neely of Vienna; and two brothers-in-law, Larry and Rick Burris of Mason.
A memorial service will be held on October 29, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the VA National Cemetery in Bushnell, Fla.
