My dear cousin, Mel, was my role model growing up. She dressed up as a clown and I had to have my own clown costume. She rocked those drums in the Meigs band and I too had to become a percussionist. I think it was Mel's contagious smile and quiet humbleness that made her so fun to be around. No matter how badly she was feeling, she was always able to be positive. A true gift! Rest in peace.

Dan, Pat and family I am so sorry for your loss. Mel was a great friend and I will always treasure the years and memories we made while I was her home health aid. God now has her in his arms and she no longer has to worry about anything and she is finally at peace and without pain. She will be missed but never forgotten.
