I am so saddened to hear of Dr. Moore's passing. He had been my Rheumatologist in Augusta for approximately 17 years. He was such a caring physician and would not stop searching until he found the answers. He is truly missed.

I am so incredibly sorry to hear of Dr.Moore's passing. He treated my Mother for many years before her unexpected passing in 2019. He was a phenomenal and extremely caring physician. I hope his legacy in the way he taught his patients at MCG will be carried on. Many prayers for his family and loved ones. He will be missed!

I would like to express my deepest condolences and prayers to the family of Dr Walter Moore. He was the most kind and compassionate doctor that I have ever met. He was my rheumatologist at AU and I trusted my life to him. What a blessing and Godsend he was as he always made you feel special with his stories and wisdom about life even if he had not so good news about your health. He was a jewel and will be missed! God Bless you all.

Dr. Moore was my Dr. For 18 years and a great one. He became more to me than my Dr. He was my friend he would call after hours if he saw something something that I needed to know about my test results. I can't believe this. I wish I would have known sooner, I would like to meet his family. May God bless y'all and strengthen you during this time. I'm so sorry I will always love Dr. Moore and Remember him..

To the whole family, Walter was such a great guy, it's no surprise that he succeeded in so many ways. He was taken way too soon. I am so sorry for your loss. My prayers and thoughts are with you all during this most difficult time.

My deepest sympathies to the family. Dr. Moore was such an incredible man. He was kind, patient and very thorough as a doctor. I had gone to many doctors but Dr. Moore was the one that knew which test to run. He was the one that finally found my diagnosis and knew which medicines to prescribe so I could get back to being independent again. He got me out of the wheelchair for most of the time. He never gave up on trying to help me regain my endurance. I took his last appointments so my husband and I could talk and laugh with him. He knew how to make you feel like he really cared which I am sure he did with all of his patients. The world was a better place because of Walter Moore. One person can make a big difference. Dr. Moore will be greatly missed!

To the family of Dr. Moore, I was a patient of his. I went for over 2 years without a diagnosis and Dr. Moore was so thorough and kind and finally not only gave me a diagnosis but put me on medicine to help me regain my independence again. He is so patient and we just fell in love with him. My husband and I scheduled the last appointment so we could just talk and laugh. He meant so much not only to me but I'm sure to all of his patients. Please accept my condolences. The world was a better place because of Dr. Moore and I'm sure he is hugging the angels in heaven.

My heart is with you all and my arms around you. I can't make it up for the funeral but my spirit is with you. I know they are having a celebration in heaven to welcome him... he'll light up the skies.
I remember growing up when the "Moores" were coming to visit grandma and we got to see you all... and when I went down with grandma to PA. Us lankenaus loved it because we matched up with most of you: Mary and Susan, Elizabeth and Sandra, Joe and John, Edie and Cindy. (Don't worry Anne and Katherine. y'all were the babies we played with...) Now "I got lucky cause I got Marge
(the closest girl) and then Micheal and Walter for me (remember my mom lost 2 babies before me- Karen was Marge's age and the second baby was closer to Michael). Walter led the way for some adventures and to get into mischief! i can remember Aunt Edith chasing us as we ran up and down that double staircase you had. Somehow Walter talked us out of getting into trouble! The baptism of Melissa when we were both posted in the DC area. And our great family reunions hosted by Uncle John and Alison..... my last time together Walter (on the conservative side), me (on the liberal side). The conversation went deep but we all kept it polite and could have a laugh at it all.... family is the most important.Love to us all. cousin Linda
