Alec Dionisio Obituary

Alec J. Dionisio, 33, of Chestertown was called home, passing peacefully in his sleep, on Thursday, October 19, 2023.

Born in Fairfax, VA, he was the son of Leo & Karen Dionisio and lived the majority of his life in Kent County, with time spent in Northern Virginia & Baltimore County, MD. He studied at the Art Institute of Washington, DC, which led to a career in website design for multiple companies, including Benchworks and LaMotte Chemical.

Funny, creative, and sensitive, Alec was an avid amateur cook and loved crafting unique meals for his family and friends. He was a film aficionado, enjoying everything from science fiction to historical documentaries. He also enjoyed online gaming and singing karaoke with his family.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother, Aaron (& his wife Nikki) Dionisio of Chestertown, his grandparents, Yvonne and Doug Arrowood, his Aunts Cheryl Hurt, (her daughter Ana Osuna and grandson Jeremiah Ramos), and Jackie Dionisio, Uncles Bill Arrowood, Romeo Dionisio, and George Street; numerous cousins, close friends, and his beloved cat Mojo.
