Frances Elizabeth Robinson

1946 - 2025

Frances Elizabeth Robinson, age 78, of Church Hill, Maryland, passed away peacefully on September 22, 2025, in Easton, Maryland.

Frances was born on October 21, 1946, to the late Thomas and Cartha Seger. She met her late husband, Burton Robinson, in Waldorf, Maryland. The two were married on February 15 and later moved to the growing metropolis of Ruthsburg, MD, where they welcomed their only child, Deborah "Debbie." They later move to Church Hill where they lived from then on.

Burton worked for the Maryland State Police, but together he and Frances built and worked on their own work boat, crabbing in the Eastern Bay.

Frances enjoyed creating wood crafts, and she and Burton often attended craft shows together, sharing her work with others.

She loved tending to her flower and vegetable gardens, where each plant had a story behind it, given to her by friends and family. One of her greatest joys was playing cards with family and friends, a pastime that always brought laughter and connection.

Along with her parents, Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Burton Robinson, and nine siblings: Thomas Seger, Patricia Newquist, June Atchison, Roberta Hamilton, Wilford Seger, Andrew Seger, Cartha Hall, James Seger, and George Seger.

Frances is survived by her daughter, Debbie (Tim), and her beloved grandchildren, Jessica and Chris of Centreville, MD.

Service will be held Saturday, October 11, 2025, at Fellows, Helfenbein and Newnam Funeral Home, 408 S. Liberty Street, Centreville, MD 21617. Viewing 10:30 - 12 noon; Service 12 - 1pm; with the burial at 1:15 pm in Chesterfield Cemetery. Fellowship immediately following burial.
