Matthew T. Waddell

1994 - 2017

CRUMPTON - Matthew Thomas Waddell, 22, of Crumpton, passed away on Nov. 5, 2017, in Shore Medical Center at Chestertown, as a result of anaphylactic shock due to a bee sting.
Matt was born on Dec. 30, 1994 in Chestertown, son of Russell Thomas Waddell Jr. and Vicky Rolfe Waddell. He was raised in Millington, where he enjoyed hunting, fishing, NASCAR and spending time with his family and friends. Matt has worked for John's Butcher Shoppe in Worton for the past three years.
He was predeceased by his grandfathers, Earl Rolfe Sr. and Russell T. Waddell Sr.
Matt is survived by his parents, Russell and Vicky Waddell of Crumpton; brother Nicholas Rolfe; sisters Shianne and Isabelle Waddell, all of Crumpton; grandmothers Carol Rolfe of Millington and Mary Waddell of Galena; aunts and uncles Peggy and Mark Waddell, Sharon and Albert Creed, Bonnie Fueller, Darlene Resto, Donna and Carey Blanchfield, Earl Jr. and Brenda Rolfe, Kim and John Rolfe, David Waddell Sr. (Sally Drury) and Daniel Stevenson; many cousins, friends, and his yellow Lab, Samantha.
A visitation will be held from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 12, in the Galena Funeral Home of Stephen L. Schaech, 118 W. Cross St., Galena, where funeral service will begin at 2 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be offered to Galena Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
